These units encompass activities such as role-playing, critical analysis of texts, exploration of cognitive biases and the historical context of fake news. Most of these teaching units have undergone practical testing to ensure their effectiveness.
Elaboration of examples for teaching dynamic simulations in Inventor
Skoupil, Tomáš ; Valena, Martin (referee) ; Okál, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on creating educational materials for dynamic simulations in the Inventor software. Its aim is to demonstrate how to work effectively in the environment of dynamic simulations and introduce students to the basic principles and procedures for their utilization. The main components of the thesis are two instructional presentations that serve as teaching materials for students. These presentations focus on assembling the trigger mechanism and reloading of a Glock pistol, which are suitable for demonstrating dynamic simulations in Inventor. By studying these presentations, students will acquire new knowledge and skills in the field of dynamic simulations. They will be able to understand the individual functions of dynamic simulations and gain the necessary skills for creating various mechanisms in the virtual environment of dynamic simulations. Overall, this thesis represents a useful tool for teaching dynamic simulations in the Inventor software and provides students with a practical foundation for working with this software.
Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in Engineering Courses at Brno University of Technology
Teoretická část práce diskutuje výhody CLILu, vysvětluje model Coyleové, Hooda a Marshe a popisuje využití různých pedagogických modelů a strategií při integraci této metody do kurikula. Závěrem práce diskutuje výzkumná zjištění vyplývající z dotazníkového šetření mezi učiteli a studenty a navrhuje, jakým způsobem výuku prostřednictvím CLILu zdokonalit.
Schooling for Students Speaking Different Native Language in Regular or Online Lessons When Teaching Czech Language at Primary School

Internet Educational Atlas Focusing on Soil Arthropods
Dvořáková, Jana ; Mourek, Jan (advisor) ; Říhová, Dagmar (referee)
The main objective of this thesis was to create an educational website aimed at soil arthropods. It can be used primarily by teachers of biology and ecology, lecturers of extracurricular science education or by the students who are interested in this issue. This photographic atlas of soil arthropods consists of my own micro images obtained by the use of light and scanning electron microscope. The micro images are accompanied by text to each group of soil arthropods, which is divided into sections containing information about the systematic classification, anatomy and morphology, biology and importance, eventually representatives of the group. The atlas is accompanied by other materials usable in the classroom, such as didactic test, didactic game and proposals for group work, worksheet, field and laboratory work or educational presentations focused on soil arthropods. These materials can be downloaded from the website, along with the entire atlas of soil arthropods. The atlas is available on the following address: https://sites.google.com/site/pudniclenovci/. The review of the literature deals with the importance of arthropods in the soil and their mutual interactions. Then I describe the methods of study of arthropods (sampling, sample preparation for light and scanning electron microscopy and...
Cross-curricular theme "Forest" and forest pedagogy as one of the possibilities of its realization
Kozák, Jaromír ; Švecová, Milada (advisor) ; Mourek, Jan (referee)
Cross-curricular themes are important formative elements of education. A forest ecosystem is an environment with great importance and potential, and knowledge of forest ecosystem, processes taking place in it and human activities associated with it can be included in many educational areas. By combining these two phenomena we gain cross- curricular theme "Forest". A possible instrument for realization this theme is the forest pedagogy. In the theoretical part of the work is the term cross-curricular theme delineated and defined in general and also specifically on the example of cross-curricular theme "Forest". About the forest ecosystem are given knowledge that contribute to spreading the results of forestry research and to modernization of teaching about the forest ecosystem at elementary and secondary schools. The forest pedagogy is introduced as an instrument that can significantly contributes to deepen the learning points about "Forest" and its presentation as cross-curricular theme. In the practical part of this work are the results of a survey that contributed to the findings of the current state of implementation of cross-curricular theme "Forest" in teaching in elementary and secondary schools. They turned out, what is the awareness of forest pedagogy among teachers nowadays, and what...
Setting up educational materials for the topic Chemistry around us
Štefková, Ivona ; Šmejkal, Petr (advisor) ; Smrček, Stanislav (referee) ; Richtr, Václav (referee)
This dissertation deals with the creation of educational materials to topics from the field Chemistry around us and circumstances of its implementation into teaching chemistry with regard to the needs posed by curricular documents. The connection between real world and the content of the chemistry subject, which is taught at schools, is shown on the curricular topics related to medicinal chemistry and to fertilizer chemistry. This could make the student getting a better overview of the subject itself. Regarding the specialist and didactical part, the teaching material tries to make it easier for the teacher to prepare for the lessons and make them more interesting due to the teaching material's variability and processing (teaching text, powerpoint presentations, plays, laboratory exercises etc.). This way, the student gains access to practical topics through various types of exercises, interesting aspects, plays etc. The evaluation of educational materials and investigation of student's and teacher's attitude was carried out via a questionnaire investigation. The investigation showed that both students and teachers regard these topics as beneficial and belonging to the field of chemistry. The medicinal topics were approached by the girls better than by the boys, which was not the case of the...
